Dun, dun, DUN!!! ;)

It's been way too long since the last time I visited this place and posted something. My apologies! My excuse, I do have to say, is just the average cliche excuse that everyone uses even though they whoever does use it, like me, probably mean every word they say: School! My days have been filled with studying. Trying to get done with everything by the end of this month and it is getting harder as each day goes by. I am losing my steam. Oh! And of course there is work which has made studying even harder to do. But, yes, that is why I haven't been posting anything. Just thought I'd fill you in.

So I've drawn a few pictures recently. They are mostly just practice pictures from trying different techniques and stuffers like that.

Elf lady. I was gonna do a background but I was too afraid that I was gonna ruin it.

On this picture I was practicing the art of coloring with colored pencils. The only name I can come up with is Spring Dream Flower.

White Rose. Now for this picture I was experimenting with black paper. It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked it too but I guess that will come in time.

Ok, this I drew a while back. I found this as I was looking for the pictures above and decided to share this as well. I don't what it is... just some mythical creature. :D

Well, there ya go! Hope you enjoyed them! :)

:)

I have visited a knew café, today! I do have to say that I actually enjoyed that place. It was very pleasant and calming. Although, it was Saturday so it was pretty busy. I could barely find a place to sit down that had an electrical outlet next to it. Fortunately, I did. After asking for permission -which was granted with enthusiasm-, I sat down next to a very nice lady who, I’m guessing, just moved to this old city. We didn’t talk much. Just made a brief comment about this cold, February, weather. I over heard her saying to a friend on the phone how she loved this place. It was like a nice community where strangers shared tables. : ) It made me smile. So, after all was barely said and done, I do have to say that I enjoyed her company very much so… I just hope that she enjoyed mine as well.

I had one of the café’s mocha’s and it was probably the best mocha I have tried yet so far. The chocolate wasn't too strong so it didn’t overpower the coffee flavor! Fiat money well spent!!! :D

So, this is probably the first February, that I can remember, that I have experienced where we got a couple of inches of snow. It was a awesome surprise to wake up to. It looked incredibly beautiful outside. Here is a picture I took when the sun kind of peaked out for a second-

I am excited for this fall. I might end up getting my sister's job which means I get those bucks which means saving up my money is gonna be easier which means I get to pay for college and dance classes right away! :D And of course some extra money to buy what ever it is I want.
What kind of job is it? A nanny job. I'll be taking care of 2 boys. Three year-old twins. The bonus part is they are really good boys. They can be testy sometimes but that... is normal. And they like me. :) That's a good thing. Apparently they like to pretend they are talking to me on the phone with their toys. And they sometimes have me in their prayers. I thought that was really cute and sweet. :) So, it's all gonna be good!

  That's it for now, :)

Super Scientist

I've recently heard this song on the radio and I have to say it is my new recent favorite songs of all time! So Listen to it!!!!!! :D

Did some doodling while I was study so I have decided to share.
Super Scientist-

So, question... am I the only one who is dying for summer to come around?
I am soo sick and tired of winter and all the rain that comes with it. I wasn't meant to live in a cold and dark environment. I was meant to live in the south!!

Venting

I feel like I am losing my virtue of patience. AHH!! I want to take drawing classes sooo bad! Right now! I want to be SUPERB and fantastic ( ;) ) at drawing and draw every, single, darn, image I think of and have it ATUALLY look !!!exactly!!! what I see in my head.
Goal for 2011: To be able to draw pictures that you can’t tell the difference between that and a regular photo taken from a digital camera.
I know! I know, man… they say (<-- or at least I think they do) what’s the point of drawing stuff that looks that realistic when you can use a photocopier, or what ever, but the difference is, is that drawing it all out is a LOT more fun, more challenging, and I like drawing fantasy-like pictures (that you can’t take with a digital camera) that looks real and cool. Sadly, my drawing skills can’t get past the cartoon stage. It's frustrating. Practice makes perfect, though. I’m certainly not going to get any better if I don‘t do anything… which I do also have to admit, I haven’t actually been doing anything. It's been a while ago since I have done something. So, guess I am way past due to create another one.

Dancing… another thing I am seriously starting to get impatient about not being able to start lessons soon. Hip hop to be specific. I’ve never really done any of that stuff but when I see movies (My favorite movie of all time is Step Up. </3) with people pulling off wicked moves with their feet and arms and everything… my heart seriously melts with aw and envy + it starts to beat real fast. And my pupils dilate (o)__(o).  So, that, too, I want to take lessons in. Just to see if I am into it as I think I am.

Okay, end of post. That was all I wanted to vent about. Next time I’ll try to make my post a little more entertaining. :D

            Au revoir!

Update From Starry for you Emily!

A Caramel Mocha… that’s what I had when Leanne and I went to Borders. Seattle’s Best was their café in the book store so I couldn’t resist the temptation in pleasuring myself with a nice warm cup of coffee in a cold, cold January night. And my drink looked rather fancy! A nice big dollop of whip cream on top, caramel placed on perfectly with not an imperfection to be seen, and a stick of chocolate, which I have to sadly say… I don’t know what happened to it. It either dropped on the ground when I wasn’t looking or it went to the bottom of my cup and melted by the time I drank half of the dark, delicious liquid.
I am going to go with the second speculation. It would truly break my heart if my disCoco stick had actually dropped.

Okay so that was on a Friday (last couple weekends ago)! The next day Leanne and I decided to visit an art museum! That was a venture for sure. Not very exciting one but entertaining, nonetheless. The whole adventure from when we got there to when we left from PL took us… oh, let’s say two hours, maybe two hours and 15 minutes. And of that two hours we spent an hour and half walking through the city, trying to find the place- which we only spent 10 minutes, at the most, looking at all the pictures. Then we left. Went to the C. Stations got ourselves some Starbucks, and of course I got myself another caramel mocha just so I could compare to the one I had at Seattle’s B. Seattle’s B. was way more better tasting than Starbucks. Starbucks was a little too strong in the chocolate factor. I couldn’t really taste the caramel as much as I wanted to. Points for Seattle’s Best!!!
After Star$ we got our hair trimmed. I sadly had to cut off a few inches to get rid of all the dead hair. I didn’t like it one bit but at least it looks better now. So, now it’s up to my shoulders.

I have exciting news, Emily. This March I may take drawing lessons. Mom was looking up places and she found… a couple, I think. Sadly though the age limit is either 16+ or 18+. But she is going to see and ask if I can participate anyways and that I am very serious about drawing. I hope they will accept me. I like the idea that I wont be around with a ton of immature teenagers even though 16 is not a whole lot better but… better than children of 12-15 years of age. :) Maybe I’ll make a new friend. Or two. That would be cool, so we’ll see.

I have decided that I am going to get a business degree in college. Mom and me were talking about it and figured that it was probably a good direction to go for.  I am also going to take a few art classes, like graphic designing or something to make my business degree more appealing or something.
I plan to start college when I am 17, right when I am pretty much ending school. So hopefully, if everything goes according to plan, I should be done with it all by 18 or 19! :) I am excited.

Well, that is all for now.

Love you my dear sister!
